Career Interests

I plan to pursue a PhD in neuroscience with the intention of advancing treatment procedures for neurodegenerative and psychiatric diseases. Biomedical engineering provides the educational background required to understand the physiological foundation of these conditions, determine areas of weakness, and develop innovative approaches. The emphasis on creativity and critical thinking encourages the application of a comprehensive perspective to address challenges and contribute to long-term developments in the field.

Participating in research allows me to apply foundational concepts to answer diverse scientific questions. The interactivity of my laboratory responsibilities facilitates the connection between lecture content and real-world applications, solidifying my understanding of the material.
